Wood is expertly carved and sculpted using both modern tools like pantographs and traditional ones like gouges and chisels. This fusion of cutting-edge techniques and ancient methods is the beating heart of the company's philosophy, aimed at creating unique and high-quality furnishings.

One of the distinctive techniques of the company is silvering and gilding, carried out through the manual application of gold and silver leaf. Additionally, the company masterfully reproduces refined Florentine-style decorations from the 14th century and Venetian-style from the 18th century, using traditional materials and tools like animal glues, plaster, shellac, hot stamps, and tracing wheels, along with technological innovations such as water-based varnishes and airbrushes.

The company is particularly renowned for its use of the ancient Florentine "Guazzo" technique, of which it is the sole custodian.

The story of Andrea Fanfani

The Andrea Fanfani company was founded in 1973 thanks to the insight of carver and decorator Andrea Fanfani. After learning the techniques and knowledge while working at the most renowned Florentine artisan workshops, Fanfani decided to start his own production, combining tradition and innovation.

Over the years, Andrea Fanfani has been joined by his two sons, Marco and Roberto, helping to consolidate the company as one of the most established Italian brands in the luxury classic furniture sector.

The Production of Luxury Furniture

The Andrea Fanfani company operates out of two facilities, each approximately 3000 square meters, located in Ginestra Fiorentina, the founder's hometown, about 10 km from Florence. Here, a team of highly skilled artisans, who are young and continuously updated, work side by side with external collaborators to quickly meet the needs of the most refined customers.

The wide range of production, which includes over 400 items available in numerous finishes and further customizable, allows the company to furnish entire villas, from the living area to the sleeping quarters, offering unique pieces rich in tradition and charm that stand the test of time. Additionally, the extensive selection of fabrics and leathers enables further customization of the furniture, turning them into true masterpieces of Italian craftsmanship.
